In Memoriam<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is with great sadness that we share news of the loss of much-loved members of our Royal Resorts family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Armando Ram\u00edrez Huertero <\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from Mexico City, Armando Ram\u00edrez joined Royal Resorts 21 years ago. A member of the Security Department, he worked at The Royal Sands.<\/p>\n

On behalf of Armando\u2019s family, his son sent this eulogy:<\/p>\n

A warrior in life <\/em><\/p>\n

You were a great teacher, always showing us the importance of doing the right thing and having values. You were a friend who was always there for us, and above all, a model father who will always leave a mark on the lives of his children, a father who loved us and gave everything for us. You always loved your job and you were very dedicated.<\/em><\/p>\n

You leave a huge hole in our hearts but we know that you are in the hands of God, an angel watching over us in heaven.
\nYou represent pride and so much respect, you were always so loyal and true; we love you, our tireless warrior <\/em><\/p>\n

Rest in peace<\/em><\/p>\n

Armando\u2019s colleagues in the Security Department also paid tribute.<\/p>\n

We remember and honor a great person; Armando was an example for many. May his memory be eternal. All of us in the Security Department will cherish our memories of our good-hearted colleague and friend.<\/em><\/p>\n

Luis Aguilar Jim\u00e9nez, Security Department<\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from Villahermosa, Tabasco, Luis had been with Royal Resorts for 21 years and many members at The Royal Sands will remember him. He was 49 years old and leaves a wife and two daughters, his parents and 11 siblings.<\/p>\n

His family sent this message<\/p>\n

In memory of Luis Aguilar Jim\u00e9nez who was a loving husband, father, son, <\/em><\/p>\n

brother, friend and workmate.<\/em><\/p>\n

We dedicate these words in his honor.<\/em><\/p>\n

While I live, you will live forever because God gave us the gift of memory so that we never forget those we love.<\/em><\/p>\n

Luis\u2019 Security Department workmates added their own tribute.<\/p>\n

Daniel Erazo, Accounting<\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from Acapulco, Guerrero, Daniel joined Royal Resorts in 2002 as an Accountant. His smiling face and kindness made him many friends throughout Royal Resorts.<\/p>\n

Daniel met his wife Raymunda Chan Balam (Reyna) at Royal Resorts. As they worked in the same department, he asked for a transfer to the Commissary. After several years, he moved back to Accounting.<\/p>\n

He leaves two children, his daughter Lilian is 19 and a student at the Universidad del Caribe and his son Daniel is 11 and is at primary school.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His wife sent this message<\/p>\n

My experience of life with Daniel Erazo as my husband, my friend and as a person goes back almost 20 years to when he arrived at Royal Resorts. From the outset, I discovered his kindness, warmth and simplicity. Whatever you needed, he would never leave you to cope alone. He would look for a solution. He used to say there is no \u201cI can\u2019t do it\u201d. He would give the shirt off his back to come to someone\u2019s aid or his daily bread to help those in need. He had a heart of gold, strength of character and he was fair too. With that warm smile, he was always ready to help. I cannot say enough about what an incredible person he was. May he rest in peace.<\/em><\/p>\n

Daniel\u2019s workmates sent these tributes:<\/p>\n

I had never met anyone like Daniel Erazo, who thanked every day and every moment for his life and Royal Resorts for the opportunity to grow professionally from the first day he set foot in Quintana Roo. Be happy when serving and helping others was his mantra and he didn\u2019t just say it, his actions were proof of how much it meant to him.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ll think of all the moments we lived through and all our experiences together. He was more than a workmate and friend, he was my brother. That\u2019s how I\u2019ll remember him for all time.<\/em><\/p>\n

Daniel was very friendly, always ready to serve and he had an incredible attitude. Many of the condolences that we have received from colleagues from different departments mention those qualities and his values. We all mourn the passing of our workmate and friend.<\/em><\/p>\n

Luis Sierra\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Daniel was happy with his life, grateful to his departmental heads and to Royal Resorts. He always used to say \u201cblessed Royal Resorts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Even when times were bad, Daniel was always there and even in the worst moments he did his best to stay positive and keep working.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 It was evident to all of us that Daniel\u2019s actions in the office, all his qualities and values, were reflected in his personal life too. He would do anything to help a friend.<\/em><\/p>\n

He was a great person and we will all miss him.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tomas Uscanga<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll always remember his generosity. Last Mother\u2019s Day he gave all the Moms in the department a rose and on your birthday he would play the Las Ma\u00f1anitas song. He tried to make people happy.<\/em><\/p>\n

One Christmas he dressed up as Santa and he always sang when we cut the birthday cake. It didn\u2019t matter if people laughed; he wanted us to enjoy the moment.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our department won\u2019t be the same without him, but we will keep our good friend Daniel Erazo in our hearts.<\/em><\/p>\n

May he rest in peace.<\/em><\/p>\n

Angelica Medina<\/p>\n

I have only good memories of Daniel. He was one of those people who never say no; in fact the word didn\u2019t exist for him. It didn\u2019t matter what the request was or how busy he was at the time, whatever we asked him to do he would always help us. <\/em><\/p>\n

I remember that Daniel often called us in the Treasury department to ask for our help in disputing bank chargebacks so that employees were not charged fees for transactions that weren\u2019t theirs. He took each case to heart, trying to help. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 I\u2019ll never forget his inimitable way of answering or talking to his workmates, he always began with his customary \u201cEstimadisimo,\u201d, then the greeting and the subject and, \u201cI know that you are very busy\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 We are going to remember Dany as that person with a big smile, a positive attitude and one mission, to ALWAYS help.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 We will miss you Dany and I am sure that wherever you are\u2026you\u2019ll be illuminating those around you with your passion for helping and your wonderful smile.<\/em><\/p>\n
