2026\u00a0charged by the Municipal governments of Cancun and\u00a0the Riviera Maya\u00a0to all hotel and resort guests in their districts is\u00a0as follows.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Please scroll down to see the mandatory tax* that applies for the resort that you will be staying at starting on February 1, 2026.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Royal\u00a0Cancun\u00a0and The Royal Sands<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The fees that will be automatically charged to your account\u00a0when you stay.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Room\/Jr. Suite $85.40 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">One-bedroom Suite $85.40 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Two-bedroom Villa $170.80 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Villa B and C $170.80 pesos per night<\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Royal Haciendas<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">If you are staying at The Royal Haciendas in the municipal district of Solidaridad in the Riviera Maya, the fees are charged per person per night and are as follows:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">First person $33.94 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Second person $22.63 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Third person $16.97 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Fourth, fifth and sixth person $11.31 pesos per night<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">No charge for children under 12 years old<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Puerto Morelos<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">If you are staying at Grand Residences, the Municipal Environmental Fee is $70.39 per room\/door per night and will be multiplied by 2, 3 or 4 depending on the size of the unit you are staying in.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Environmental Fee is in Mexican pesos and is not covered by the Member Club Service Fee or by All-Inclusive or European Plan room rates.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The municipal governments use the proceeds from the Environmental Tax to contribute to environmental protection,\u00a0sanitation,\u00a0and community initiatives in their area.
