Villa Renovation at The Royal Sands

Starting this year, the villas at The Royal Sands are to be given a facelift. At least 80 units will be refurbished annually (subject to occupancy) as part of a project slated for completion by the end of 2019. A special FF & E Cash Reserve was created in The Royal Sands operating budget to pay for the renovation.
The decision to renovate the units was based on feedback received about the villa décor and furniture in recent years and the fact that the membership term at The Royal Sands is for 50 years.
The contemporary design selected features tones of beige, green and grey and accents of aqua, jade and turquoise. Both bedrooms will have new furniture, headboards, lamps and bedspreads. The living and dining area will be given a complete makeover with a new sofa and cushions, tables, lamps, curtains, art and the addition of a mirror in the niche by the front door. The kitchen cabinets and counter tops are also being resurfaced and the dining room chairs and living room wall cabinet will be repainted and restyled.
