Update on Beach Erosion at The Royal Haciendas

We would like to share an update on the beach restoration program at The Royal Haciendas.

As part of our short-term action plan, we are pleased to inform you that the protective measures have been installed successfully. These measures are designed to stabilize the shoreline and mitigate the effects of coastal erosion, which continues to affect Moxché Bay, as it does other beaches in the Playa del Carmen area.

In parallel, we continue to move forward with the long-term restoration project in collaboration with other resorts in the Corasol area. We are currently in the process of preparing the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), a key requirement for obtaining the necessary permits. This process involves detailed environmental studies and is expected to take approximately eight to 10 months before submission to the relevant authorities for review and approval.

We thank members for their patience, understanding, and continued support as we work to protect and restore this beautiful stretch of coastline. Our commitment remains strong, and we are hopeful that these efforts will result in a lasting improvement for the enjoyment of all our members and guests.
