We would like to share some important information with you about medical services at The Royal Sands and The Royal Cancun. For many years we have had an agreement with a company to provide medical services at each of the resorts; the doctors in attendance were employed by said company. However, in order to expand the medical attention available to members and guests, Royal Resorts has now signed an agreement with a private hospital for all of our resorts. This will bring more benefits to both members and staff and we will now have the support of an institution and its network of qualified doctors.

As of January 13, Dr. Claudia Domínguez is the doctor on site at The Royal Sands and at The Royal Cancun and she will be supported by Amerimed Hospital and its team of doctors and specialists. Many of you may remember Dr. Dominguez as she was previously in charge of medical services at The Royal Caribbean, The Royal Islander and The Royal Mayan.

The Doctor’s office hours at The Royal Sands are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and members can call the Operator on Ext. 0 any time of the day to request medical service.

We assure you that this change was made for the benefit of our members, guests and staff.
